About The Position

Lument provides comprehensive capital solutions for multifamily, affordable, MHC, and commercial real estate. This includes a full suite of financing and strategic solutions such as investment banking, mortgage banking, private equity, a variety of direct balance sheet lending options, investment sales, and mergers and acquisitions. We are seeking a Director to work side-by-side with a seasoned professional on a substantial volume of financing opportunities. This position will contribute to the growth of the business, focusing on all CRE asset classes. The Director will be an integral part of the process, responsible for a variety of analysis related to new and existing investments, and assisting with communication between/with borrowers and capital partners.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial mortgage banking or lending.
  • Strong proficiency with MS-Excel, word, Argus, and other computer programs as needed.
  • Excellent proficiency of CRE lending products across all asset classes.

Responsibilities

  • Perform extensive financial analysis based on current and historical property cash flow, as well as various market(s) research and analysis.
  • Prepares and reviews lender submission packages for deal placement.
  • Prepares and reviews quotes and application packages.
  • Provides workflow management and deal assignment.
  • Directs all facets of analysis and preparing deals to take to market.
  • Provides credible recommendations to supervisor based on market research and analysis.
  • Logs and maintains all transactions in the proprietary database in a timely and organized manner, monitors reporting, and ensures all compliance and legal steps are completed during the loan process.
  • Assists throughout the due diligence process by gathering required property and credit documents and updating the underwriting workbook with rent rolls, portfolio comps and real estate schedules.
  • Demonstrate excellent client relations skills.
