About The Position

Role Overview: As a product marketing manager, you will be a growth architect working across functions and departments to drive demand for Trellix Network Detection and Response (NDR). You will create resonant messaging that connects customer problems and use cases to product capabilities. You will develop marketing programs and create content that drive each phase of the buyer journey: from awareness to decision, and through to customer retention. You will act as a conductor, orchestrating product management, sales, marketing, partners, and industry influencers to tell a consistent, resonant story that drives awareness and demand – and ultimately customer success. About the role: Buyer expert / advocate – Be an expert on your buyers’ problems and key value drivers. Understand their decision-making process, including how they evaluate critical capabilities and competitive alternatives. Messaging and thought leadership - Craft messaging source documents that serve as the single source of truth for all internal and outbound messaging. Craft resonant stories to help underscore our thought leader position in the market; contribute regularly via internal sales enablement, our corporate blog, customer-facing webinars, and social media outlets. Demand generation – Collaborate with our global demand team and regional field marketing to content aligned to the buyers’ journey and develop programs to drive awareness and demand. Sales enablement – Evangelize your product story to direct and partner sales teams. Develop sales tools needed to support and accelerate the selling process. Work with sales engineering to develop demos that bring our story to life. Evangelist – Craft and deliver compelling presentations for both internal and external, online and in-person events that drive awareness, understanding and demand for email as well as a new, paradigm-shifting service offering. Drive analyst relations content to support building deeper relationships with key industry influencers through briefings, inquiries, and strategy sessions. About you: You have deep empathy for your customers and take their problems to heart. You are a self-motivated storyteller who loves sharing new ideas with the world. You’re a great presenter, writer, and you understand how to structure a story to serve audience needs. While you don’t own the Sales number, you view it as your own. You are someone who doesn't ask for a seat at the table, but rather walks up, sits down and rolls up their sleeves. But also, a great listener who enjoys working closely with sales, product management, field marketing and channel teams to gather feedback, eliminate friction, and drive results. You are fueled by curiosity; you are a lifelong learner who figures stuff out. You take a dual-minded approach to content development: you’re highly creative and an excellent writer but you are also also process-driven, think scale, and rely on data to make decisions. To you, cybersecurity isn’t a job, it’s your professional purpose. You’re driven by the impact your work has on keeping your friends, family, and community safe.
