About The Position

This role is part of Enterprise Technology (ET), where we’re developing the digital infrastructure needed to build the road to space, with an emphasis on digital capabilities required to advance Blue Origin’s mission. Enterprise Technology is the center of excellence for digital technology at Blue Origin, providing oversight and governance to align technology and business strategies. Blue Origin seeks an experienced leader with a deep understanding of software product management, design, artificial intelligence, hardware development, and aerospace manufacturing. You will be responsible for the systems that blueprint how Blue Origin builds and operates rockets, lunar landers, space stations, and satellites. You will be responsible for product strategy, design, and execution, and leverage artificial intelligence tools to ship results at incredibly fast pace while maintaining a high level of quality. You will advise leaders across all of Blue's business units, including New Glenn, Engines, and Lunar. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
  • 10+ years of Technical Program or Project Management experience, including hands-on work managing complex technology projects
  • 10+ years of proven experience in manufacturing or supply chain technology, preferably in a leadership role.
  • Strong interpersonal skill and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including experience working with Software Development, Manufacturing Operations, Quality, Engineering, and other business functions to create high-quality, end-to-end solutions
  • Fluency with AI tooling, especially LLMs and agentic coding
  • Strong communication and presentation skills for senior leaders.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree or experience in aerospace applications preferred
  • Experience with high-performance systems for aerospace applications
  • Experience building or designing PLM, ERP, QMS, and MES systems
  • Experience with AS9100 and other manufacturing regulatory frameworks

Responsibilities

  • Leading a team of senior and principal product managers and designers to help our business improve operating rate while maintaining Blue's high quality bar
  • Establishing product vision, technical strategy, and execution mechanisms to help your team and our engineering organization ship results quickly, with minimal defects
  • Incorporating AI into your team's operating mechanisms to improve impact and speed by orders of magnitude
  • Developing strong relationships with Blue Origin's business units and operations, from individual engineers and technicians to senior executives
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies
