About The Position

The Director, Mastercard Access Pass, will support the development, management, and execution of the Mastercard Access Pass program globally. We are seeking a strategic and execution-focused Product Manager to lead commercialization and support development of, new consumer-facing products. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of consumer insight, innovation, and operational excellence - bringing ideas to life and driving sustained market success. The ideal candidate will be passionate about creating meaningful value for consumers and skilled at navigating regional and cross-functional teams to deliver results.

Requirements

  • Product Management experience in relavant or related field
  • Experience/familiarity in user experience research and design
  • Understanding of card issuing and payments technologies
  • Proven track record in bringing ideas from creation to execution
  • Experience leading complex projects through all phases of the project / product development lifecycle
  • Strong operational/technical background within the payments and financial services industries
  • Strong leadership skills, able to get things done through influencing others
  • Self-starter and motivated to work independently and as an effective team member
  • Strong business acumen
  • Ability to comfortably lead strategic product conversations with senior internal stakeholders
  • Excellent oral and written business presentation skills with various levels of audience
  • Ability to handle multiple partners and projects from initiation to completion
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, negotiation, and conflict resolution and/or project management skills
  • Understanding of competitive offerings and industry trends
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills – ability to identify process/efficiency enhanchements and attention to detail
  • Bachelors degree required, MBA preferred

  • Experience in building network products for card issuers and banks a plus

Responsibilities

  • Define product vision and strategic roadmap for MA Access Pass
  • Manage end-to-end product management of MA Access Pass CVP deployment
  • Lead go-to-market strategy and commercialization including monitoring product performance and KPIs, Studio and regional readiness, support sales enablement and training
  • Ensure product suite is continually updated to exceed cardholder and issuer expectations, industry standards, and competitive pressures, support ownership of competitive assessments to feed into global product/product architect organization related to driving product development needs
  • Develop and maintain up-to-date consumer and market insights and intelligence to identify opportunities globally
  • Support the relevant research activities that inform both the current and future products at a global, regional, or country level that will enhance existing product propositions
  • Support the development and management of product governance framework and forum
  • Work with the regional and local product and cross-functional teams to execute against the Mastercard Access Pass product strategy, including but not limited to ensuring ongoing CVP relevance and optimization
  • Support the development of internal and external product narratives, including FSMs, by partnering with product marketing and regional product teams
  • Support account teams to win high-priority deals and manage critical customer engagements by developing and delivering competitive product responses in collaboration with regional and functional stakeholders.
  • Support with review product architecture and flows to ensure readiness
