About The Position

We’re looking for a Director of Product Management to lead the execution of Valon’s enterprise SaaS software for default mortgage servicing. Valon’s software has demonstrated disruptive efficiency at our internal mortgage servicer, and we are now in the process of shipping this software to the rest of the industry. The Default team operates at the nexus of multiple end customers, including homeowners, Valon’s servicing teams, investors, regulators, and law firms. This role will need to balance competing interests across those end customers, through developing complex technological solutions to address severely delinquent mortgages and mortgages impacted by legal proceedings. As a relatively new function at Valon, you will have the opportunity to launch a number of new products from scratch. As a senior leader, you will oversee a team of product managers and collaborate closely with Engineering, Design, Servicing Operations, and Compliance to ensure Valon delivers excellent products quickly.

  • Proven ability to drive alignment across engineering, design, and business stakeholders
  • Strong product team building skills, hiring and retaining top performers
  • Experience in regulated industries (e.g., finance, healthcare, insurance) is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Own the entirety of our non-performing servicing product, define and lead the product execution of our non-performing servicing platform, transforming an inefficient operations-led industry into an efficient software platform
  • Lead and grow a high-performing team of product managers, setting clear priorities, fostering a culture of innovation, and ensuring exceptional execution
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Design, and BizOps to ship impactful products at scale
  • Represent the voice of the homeowner in executive forums and strategic planning sessions
