  • Ph.D. or equivalent experience in systems, compilers, or machine learning systems.
  • Hands-on experience with MLOps platforms, model registries, CI/CD pipelines for AI workloads.
  • Contributions to open-source AI or orchestration projects (e.g., Kubernetes SIG-AI, ONNX).
  • Familiarity with emerging trends: serverless inference, disaggregated architectures, DPUs, edge-to-cloud AI pipelines.
  • 10+ years of product management experience, including 5+ years focused on AI infrastructure software.
  • Deep technical expertise in AI frameworks, orchestration platforms, compiler stacks, and observability tools.
  • Proven track record launching complex software products that integrate closely with custom silicon.
  • Strong understanding of distributed systems, cloud-native architectures, GPU/accelerator virtualization, and performance tuning.
  • Excellent analytical skills, financial modeling, and competitive benchmarking capabilities.
  • Outstanding communication and storytelling skills, able to translate technical detail into strategic business impact.

Responsibilities

  • Define and drive the product vision and roadmap for AI data center software, including container orchestration and cluster scheduling (Kubernetes, Slurm, Yarn), AI frameworks and model runtimes (TensorFlow, PyTorch, ONNX Runtime, custom accelerators), compiler toolchains and performance optimizers (XLA, TVM, MLIR), telemetry, profiling, and observability stacks (Prometheus, Jaeger, custom agents).
  • Lead cross-functional teams of software architects, engineers, DevOps, and QA to deliver integrated solutions that maximize performance-per-watt and utilization of Qualcomm AI accelerators.
  • Conduct deep market and technical analysis to identify trends in model parallelism, inference pipelines, and MLOps-translating findings into product requirements.
  • Partner with hyperscale cloud providers, OEMs, and system integrators to co-develop reference architectures, PoCs, and early deployments, ensuring smooth integration into customer environments.
  • Collaborate with silicon and firmware teams to align hardware capabilities with software features, driving end-to-end optimizations and SDK/tool support.
  • Drive go-to-market planning in partnership with marketing and sales: develop competitive positioning, pricing, reference designs, and enablement programs.
