About The Position

The Director, Plant Manager is responsible for providing guidance and leadership to the staff. The duties and responsibilities outlined in the job description are to be used as a guideline and are not meant to be all-inclusive of the essential functions of the position. Other duties may be assigned, as necessary.

Requirements

• BA or BS in Operations Management, Business, Engineering, or related field.
• Master’s degree is strongly preferred.
• 10 years in the manufacturing industry.
• 5 years in the automotive industry.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate the activities of the different Business Units, adjusting to the programs required by customers.
• Implement and execute the policies of JSS through its subordinate managers.
• Present results of the operation to the Management.
• Detect situations or tendencies that can affect the results of their Business Units.
• Implement projects for the continuous improvement of the product and/or process.
• Participate and implement actions necessary to reach established goals (Quality Objective).
• Participate with the management team in the revision of the Environmental system.
• Follow up on procedures and controls aspects and impacts, objectives and targets set out in the ISO 14001:2004 & ISO TS 16949.
• Fulfill policies, codes of behavior, and systems of administration, quality, environmental, and safety.
