About The Position
The Director of Strategic Planning and Research leads and oversees the conception, analysis, and all activities of data analytics. Responsible for providing executive leadership and hospital administration with accurate, timely and relevant information in support of AdventHealth's goals. The Director of Strategic Planning and Research provides analytics, creates effective strategies to collect data, analyze information, conduct research, and implement analytic solutions. Provides leadership and acts as a subject matter expert in the designing and recommending of appropriate analytical approaches and methodology in addressing key issues within the business. The Director of Strategic Planning and Research is responsible for promoting data-driven decision making and analytics. The role will retrieve and interpret data from both internal and external healthcare databases. Evaluates market size, new business opportunities, competitor accomplishments and industry structures and makes recommendations to senior management to assist in the development of strategic business plans. Must direct the activities of and set priorities for the personnel that he or she manages. Skilled communicator and have the ability to interact, manage and instruct all levels of employees in their department.
