About The Position

The Director of PHP, IOP, and Outpatient Therapy Services is responsible for clinical and programmatic leadership of the SBHS Partial Hospitalization (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient (IOP) programs and OP Group Therapy. The Director of PHP, IOP, and Outpatient Therapy Services develops and maintains evidence-based, developmentally appropriate clinical programming content for all PHP, IOP, and OP Group programming. The Director of PHP, IOP, and Outpatient Therapy Services is responsible for coordination, supervision, and management of all aspects of PHP/IOP operations to ensure all program components and functions occur according to regulatory standards and SBHS & PHP/IOP policies and processes. This includes scheduling staff to ensure coverage for all aspects of the programs and scheduling/participating in interdisciplinary staffings. This position also oversees and supervises effective communications between the PHP/IOP clinical teams and invested members of patients’ external treatment teams, including patient schools, school districts, parents, and others involves in the patients’ care. The Director of PHP, IOP, and Outpatient Therapy Services is responsible for ensuring that all outcome measures, including Patient Satisfaction survey results, are entered into the data portal within established deadlines. The Director of PHP, IOP, and Outpatient Therapy Services is responsible for ensuring program fidelity and clinical documentation meet regulatory and SBHS and PHP/IOP/OP Clinic standards and guidelines. THE Director of PHP, IOP, and Outpatient Therapy Services possesses a thorough working knowledge of the State of Illinois Mental Health and Developmental Disabilities Act. The Director of PHP, IOP, and Outpatient Therapy Services works effectively with patients of any age and demonstrates an understanding of human development across the life span. The Director of PHP, IOP, and Outpatient Therapy Services engages actively in crisis management and demonstrates effective and proper use of crisis intervention techniques. The Director of PHP, IOP, and Outpatient Therapy Services embodies Service Excellence and Trauma Informed Care in all interactions with patients, families, school teams, and colleagues both within the PHP/IOP/OP Clinic teams, and throughout the SBHS organization.

Requirements

  • Master's Degtree in Psychology or related firld REQIRED, Ph.D or Psy.D preferred
  • Must have 5-8 years' experience in a behavioral health/therapeutic environment REQUIRED, 8-10 years' preferred
  • Must have direct superviosry experience in a therapeutic environment
  • LCPC, LCSW, or Licensed Clinical Psychologist Required
  • Primary Source Verification shall be required through Illinois Department of Professional Regulations
