About The Position

Leadership opportunity with direct supervision over the peri-operative departments including - OR, SPD, Day Surgery, Pre/Post, Minor Procedures. The opportunity to lead, shape, and direct the surgical and procedural care areas to achieve next level success. It is a senior nursing leadership position that oversees the strategic, operational, and clinical performance of the department including budget, capital expenditures, staffing, quality and safety, process improvement, regulatory and strategic growth that aligns with the strategic initiatives of YVMC and the UCHealth system.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated leadership experience at the Manager or Director level within the perioperative environment, supported by hands-on operating room (OR) expertise and comprehensive knowledge of surgical workflows.
  • Experienced leader with experience building strong partnerships with staff and physician stakeholders.
  • Demonstrable experience fostering teamwork and accountability as well as driving operational excellence.
  • Master's degree in Nursing.
  • State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
  • 5 years' relevant experience.
