About The Position

The Director of Performance Marketing is responsible for leading demand capture, planning, execution and optimization across Search, Social and Affiliates, focused on driving revenue and achieving brand goals through data-driven insights and channel expertise.

Requirements

  • Digitally savvy with strong working knowledge of social advertising across brand and performance campaigns on platforms including FB/IG, YouTube, Pinterest and TikTok.
  • Experience building campaigns for and successfully connecting with audiences on TikTok preferred.
  • Experience across various media channels including OOH, partnerships and video.
  • Strong media analytics skills with experience in managing substantial media budget for full funnel in-flight optimizations.
  • Strong negotiating skills, excellent communication and relationship building skills.
  • Partnership oriented and familiarity in working in a matrixed organization.
  • 10+ years of relevant working experience; an equivalent combination of experience and education will be considered.
  • Strong retail business acumen.
  • Previous media agency experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Demand capture strategies, planning and execution (in partnership with AOR) across Search, Social and Affiliates to drive business growth, ensuring short- and long-term business goals are met, pivoting and optimizing as needed.
  • Effectively collaborate with buying, planning, COE and commerce teams to ensure plans are aligned to business goals.
  • Oversee in-flight optimizations to deliver monthly NA eCommerce goals.
  • Enable fluid on-the-go budget spend framework informed by real time campaign performance analysis that minimizes ineffective spend and maximizes ROI.
  • Own annual performance media budgets (recommendations, planning, and tracking).
  • Analyze performance data deeply to identify key growth paths and opportunities for optimization across various channels.
  • Implement rigorous testing and data analysis techniques to continually refine and enhance media strategies.
  • Provide regular (weekly, monthly and quarterly), detailed reports and insights, demonstrating the impact and effectiveness of strategies and campaigns.
  • Identify must win and ownable media moments for Kate Spade, opportunities to connect with our core audience, grow of voice and acquire new customers.
  • Regularly monitor media and digital trends, ensuring Kate Spade remains on the forefront of innovation.
  • Develop a POV and test plans if applicable on new & emerging platforms/mediums and bring relevant opportunities for first mover advantage to life through thoughtful strategies.
  • Identify and proactively find new ways to improve work flows to center strategies around consumer and data/insights, with clear ownership, deliverables and accountability across stakeholders.
  • Own vendor/agency relationship management.
