We are seeking a strategic and technically skilled Director of People Analytics to join our Group Analytics function dotted line into our global HR function. This role will drive data-informed decision-making across workforce planning, organizational design, and talent strategy. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Workday and advanced analytics tools to transform complex data into actionable insights for executive leadership. This role is a Hybrid position based out of Warren, NJ.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in People Analytics, Workforce Planning, or HR Strategy roles.
  • Proven expertise in Workday and Anaplan (certifications a plus).
  • Strong analytical and modeling skills; experience with data visualization tools, such as Excel, SQL, Python, R, and visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau.
  • Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for senior stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across HR, Finance, and IT.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Analytics, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field.

Nice To Haves

  • Deep understanding of HRIS systems (especially Workday) and enterprise planning tools (Anaplan).
  • Proficiency in data modeling, forecasting, and scenario planning.
  • Strong command of data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) and advanced Excel.
  • Strong business acumen with a focus on aligning analytics to organizational goals.
  • Experience supporting OKRs, organizational design, and talent strategy.
  • Proven ability to partner cross-functionally with HR, Finance, and IT.
  • Experience presenting to executive leadership and driving data-informed decisions.
  • Demonstrated success in leading analytics initiatives in a global, matrixed environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-impact outcomes under tight timelines.
  • Passion for continuous improvement, innovation, and building scalable solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Advance reporting and data transformation to improve Everest's approach to HR management.
  • Support management through reporting on metrics important to both HR and the business.
  • Drive enhancements in technology enablement and data reliability.
  • Support the delivery of strategic workforce planning, headcount forecasting, and capacity modeling.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and scorecards for executive reporting, including CEO-level insights.
  • Translate metric priorities into new dashboards and key reports with compelling visualizations and storytelling.
  • Partner with HR, Finance, and IT to ensure data consistency, governance, and integration across systems.
  • Analyze trends in compensation, attrition, talent flow, and organizational health to inform business decisions.
  • Support succession planning, job architecture alignment, and organizational design through scenario modeling.
  • Enable HR teams with self-service analytics and reduce manual reporting through automation and scalable tools.
