This is what you will do: The Director, Patient Access, will drive the Alexion patient access strategy for all US approved products. The patient access strategy is intended to ensure patients have access to therapy via needed support programs and services which will support patient initiation and adherenceby removing non-clinical barriers to therapy. The specific focus for this role is: Reimbursement Services, Financial Assistance Programs, Free drug programs, Specialty Pharmacy Enhanced Contracting, and policy impact to patients. This role will work with the Patient Services Leadership, Market Access partners, legal, compliance, and therapeutic area management to align on strategic programs impacting the entire Alexion portfolio. This role leads the Patient Services Access team, and will own the development, implementation, and external vendor management for patient access programs for current products as well as developing strategy for future launches. Reporting to the Senior Director of Patient Services Operational Effectiveness, this role will provide critical strategic leadership within Patient Services and across Alexion's US organization.
