About The Position

Summary: The Director of Partner Engagement is responsible for leading strategic relationships with a portfolio of corporate partners, with a primary focus on renewals, upsell-driven revenue growth, and long-term partnership value. This role serves as a senior client leader within the Corporate Partnerships department, overseeing the development, execution, and evolution of integrated partnership programs across media, digital, experiential, hospitality, community, and on-site platforms. This position partners closely with Business Development, Strategy, Solutions, and Analytics teams to identify growth opportunities, deliver insight-driven recommendations, and ensure partners achieve measurable business outcomes. The Director will lead several junior team members, influence cross-functional stakeholders, and play a critical role in retaining and expanding partnerships while elevating the overall partner experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 8–10+ years of experience in corporate partnerships, client services, sports & entertainment, media, or agency environments, with a strong emphasis on renewals and revenue growth
  • Proven success managing senior client relationships and driving upsell and retention strategies
  • Strong strategic thinking, presentation, and storytelling skills with the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders
  • Demonstrated leadership experience, including managing and developing teams
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook), CRM systems, and analytics/measurement tools; experience with industry research platforms preferred
  • Willingness to work non-traditional hours, including nights, weekends, and events as needed
  • Valid driver’s license required

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the senior relationship lead for a portfolio of corporate partners, owning renewal strategy, upsell opportunities, and long-term partnership growth
  • Lead renewal planning and negotiations in collaboration with Business Solutions, identifying incremental inventory, new platforms, and expanded investment opportunities aligned with partner objectives
  • Develop and execute multi-year partner growth strategies that align organizational assets with partner KPIs, marketing priorities, and target audiences
  • Identify and pitch new partnership platforms, activation concepts, and cross-channel integrations to drive incremental revenue and deepen partner engagement
  • Partner with Strategy and Business Intelligence teams to leverage fan insights, performance data, and ROI measurement to inform recommendations, renewal narratives, and storytelling
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration across Sales, Partner Solutions, Marketing, Media, Events, Legal, and Operations to align on deal points, approvals, and execution timelines
  • Oversee the successful delivery of integrated partnership programs across media, digital, on-site activation, hospitality, events, and community initiatives, ensuring contractual fulfillment and brand standards
  • Provide strategic oversight of partner events and experiences, ensuring execution excellence while delegating tactical responsibilities
  • Manage, mentor, and develop Partner Engagement team members, fostering strong client leadership, accountability, and professional growth
  • Oversee partnership tracking, inventory management, budgeting, and forecasting to support accurate reporting, renewals, and revenue retention
  • Manage third-party vendors and support broader Corporate Partnerships initiatives as needed
  • Flexibility to work extended hours and attend games and events as required
