Requirements

  • A minimum of 8 years’ paid search experience, including all core Google Ads products.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a client-facing marketing role.
  • Proven experience managing a team of 2+ direct reports and mentoring them into senior roles.
  • Deep understanding of Google Ads, Apple Search Ads, and Microsoft Ads.
  • Ability to audit accounts and present actionable insights to clients.
  • Experience discussing growth strategy, SEO, CRO, analytics, and measurement with marketing managers and C-Level executives.
  • Experience acting as an escalation point for clients and proposing service improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of paid search experts, ensuring adherence to DEPT standards and supporting career growth plans.
  • Oversee daily account management, tactical creation, and implementation of paid search strategies.
  • Accountable to Client Partner(s) for delivering tactical plans that align with overall brand strategy and KPIs.
  • Support client partners in managing relationships related to paid search strategy and performance.
  • Ensure effective collaboration of paid search strategy and implementation for flawless execution.
  • Act as a point of escalation for team members, providing coaching on advanced strategies and optimizations.
  • Manage team resourcing and ensure accurate utilization tracking.
  • Identify succession plans and cultivate talent development for upward mobility.
  • Drive the development of channel-specific innovation, thought leadership, and best practices.
