About The Position

We're seeking a strategic and hands-on Head of Marketing to lead our marketing function and drive customer acquisition and brand awareness. You'll own the complete marketing strategy and execution, working cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners to deliver measurable results. This is a leadership role for someone who can balance strategic thinking with tactical execution.

Requirements

  • 7+ years marketing experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
  • Proven track record executing multi-channel B2B marketing campaigns
  • Strong understanding of SBA lending, equipment financing, or commercial finance (preferred)
  • Experience managing marketing budgets of $500K+
  • Proficiency with marketing automation platforms (HubSpot, Marketo, Pardot, etc.)
  • Data-driven mindset with strong analytical skills
  • Excellent project management and vendor management abilities

Nice To Haves

  • Background in financial services, fintech, or lending
  • Experience in lead generation for complex B2B sales cycles
  • Knowledge of CRM systems and sales/marketing alignment best practices

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with business growth objectives
  • Own marketing budget allocation and ROI optimization across all channels
  • Lead and mentor internal marketing team members
  • Partner with sales leadership to ensure marketing efforts drive qualified pipeline
  • Oversee email marketing campaigns: strategy, segmentation, automation, and performance optimization
  • Manage digital marketing: paid search, display, social media, SEO, and website optimization
  • Manage direct mail campaigns in partnership with vendors and agencies
  • Coordinate with marketing service providers and agencies to ensure quality execution and accountability
  • Establish KPIs and tracking mechanisms for all marketing initiatives
  • Analyze campaign performance and provide actionable insights to executive leadership
  • Test, iterate, and scale successful campaigns across channels
  • Report on marketing contribution to revenue and pipeline generation
