About The Position

The Director of Operational Excellence (OpEx) at Honeywell plays a pivotal role in enhancing operational efficiency and driving process improvement initiatives within the Global Integrated Supply Chain organization. This high-visibility position involves developing and implementing strategies that optimize operations, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction. The role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to foster a culture of operational excellence.

Requirements

• Experience in Digital Manufacturing tools and technology and change management.
• A track record of operational improvement through lean six sigma principles and tools, value stream maps, and technology implementation in discrete manufacturing.
• 10+ years of manufacturing experience, including process design, new product/process introduction, and SQDICP improvement.
• Strong facilitation, negotiation, and problem-solving skills with the ability to collaborate across all organizational levels.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• Advanced degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• Proven ability to define a vision and lead change management initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead, promote and facilitate the adoption of lean six sigma principles and tools within the ISC culture.
• Develop and execute a transformation plan for sustainable lean six sigma processes, focusing on SQDICP performance.
• Coach, educate, and develop lean six sigma skills and competencies within the organization.
• Engage and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure support for the lean six sigma strategy and alignment with business objectives.
• Build strong relationships with key functional leaders to align improvement initiatives with business strategy.
