About The Position

The Director of Oncology Services at Franciscan Health holds the essential role of managing the operation of oncology services. This position, in addition, directs and monitors oncology quality improvement plans, and monitors activities associated with accreditations. The Director develops and implements department marketing and community outreach plans. WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT Direct, monitor, and report all activates associated with accreditations, such as Commission On Cancer (CoC) and National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC). Develop financial reports and control mechanisms, negotiating with vendors for high-cost radiation oncology equipment and supplies to manage the operation of outpatient cancer services. Develop and implement department marketing and community outreach plans, in partnership with marketing and business development, to create awareness of the organization's oncology services. Direct and monitor oncology quality improvement plans, to ensure high stand of patient care. Prepare, implement, and monitor department strategic plan, goals and performance targets, to create goals which support the organization in achieving its strategic plan.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree Nursing/Business Administration or Radiology
  • 2 years of Oncology experience
