  • Demonstrated experience overseeing complex generation programs, including natural gas-fired systems; exposure to nuclear or advanced energy technologies preferred.
  • Strong understanding of EPC delivery models, OEM ecosystem, fuel supply considerations, and long-lead equipment procurement.
  • Proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams and manage large capital programs.
  • Expertise with permitting, environmental compliance, interconnection considerations, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Excellent executive communication, program governance, and vendor management skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, energy systems, construction management or related field.

  • Support the development and execution of regional generation strategy in alignment with global energy objectives and long-term capacity planning.
  • Support technology selection, commercial structuring, vendor evaluation, and risk assessments for natural gas and alternative generation technologies.
  • Establish program governance, standards, performance metrics, and technical requirements for the execution of on-site energy generation projects; aligning with the Digital Realty data center development standards.
  • Work with internal acquisitions, design, engineering, and construction teams to integrate generation solutions into campus master planning and development roadmaps.
  • Foster and own relationships with key industry partners like EPC providers and technical consultants.
  • Partner with the energy, supply chain and commercial teams to negotiate major equipment, EPC, and long-lead agreements.
  • Coordinate with environmental, permitting, and regulatory teams to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local requirements.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment with Operations to ensure maintainability, reliability, and long-term asset performance.
  • Provide executive-level reporting on program progress, risks, financials, and strategic direction.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team of technical and project program management professionals and consultants.
