About The Position

To effectively manage and lead the On-Premise Sales Team members by assigning tasks, setting performance expectations, providing guidance and support for personnel development, and ensuring work is completed efficiently while ultimately achieving the goals and objectives of the Company.

  • Education – Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Experience – Ten (10) or more years sales and/or management experience, prefer CPG industry
  • Licensing – valid Driver License

Responsibilities

  • Lead the On-Premise Sales Team and all activities associated with the on-premise to exceed annual KEG 1 Missouri sales, revenue and margin goals.
  • Serve as the leader, primary contact, spokesperson, and representative for all On-Premise related activities.
  • Possess strong analytical skills utilizing in-house technology (Power BI, iDig and other VIP enhancement tools) and syndicated data to help drive sales and financial performance.
  • Assist in the building of the annual On-Premise sales department budget. Manage and monitor expenditures to ensure expenses remain within the guidelines set in the approved budget.
  • Assist in the recruitment, interviewing, and selection of employees to ensure the most qualified individuals are hired for sales positions to help ensure the annual Labor Plan and Turnover goals exceed expectations.
  • Ensure that the “30-60-90 Day Review” and “New Hire Orientation Plans” are administered with every new member of the On-Premise Sales Team.
  • Motivate, manage, and coach direct reports in their daily management responsibilities and activities.
  • Provide training, development, direction, and follow-up through the consistent execution of the On-Premise Area Sales Manager “Work-With” program.
  • Ensure that all processes associated with the Daily Preplan, “10 Steps to a Professional Sales Call” and market execution surveys (i.e. Quality Rotation & Tap Handle) are completed and instilled into all members of the On-Premise Sales Team.
  • Develop a high level of proficiency within PAYCOM.
  • Manage the annual Performance Evaluation Process to drive development and growth amongst the On-Premise Sales Team.
  • Take corrective action to improve any deficiencies in assigned staff performance through counseling and/or progressive discipline processes.
  • In conjunction with KEG 1 Missouri Brand Management and respective Suppliers, assist in developing Monthly Business Objectives (MBO) goals and evaluating incentive programs within Company budgets to enhance execution and drive growth throughout the entire On-Premise Sales Team.
  • Coordinate strategic planning and oversee the implementation and execution of all On-Premise sales and distribution initiatives to achieve established goals and maximize sales and revenue growth.
  • Minimize costs associated with out-of-code product through the quality standards and processes established by KEG 1 Missouri and our Suppliers – meet budgeted Finished Product Loss expectations.
  • Responsible for all aspects of on-premise draft quality management – both internal responsibilities and outsourced line cleaning operations.
  • In conjunction with Suppliers, plan, coordinate and expand KEG 1 Missouri community engagement through special initiatives and events to showcase our brands, fulfill the Company Vision of being the “Preferred Wholesaler” amongst our Suppliers and Retailers.
  • In conjunction with the Inventory/Brand Management Teams, participate in the planning and forecasting of new items, seasonal items, and products associated with MBOs or special initiatives to minimize out of stocks, reduce warehouse on-floor aging and maximize sales.
  • Manage and optimize the Retailer Portal to ensure all communication is timely and relevant (to include all new brand introductions and seasonal offerings) and increase retailer participation through customer experience enhancements.
  • Manage the sampling program initiatives for the entire sales organization.
  • Promote KEG 1 Missouri and its portfolio via key social media platforms.
  • Manage internal communication in support of community events and on-premise account activities.
  • Comply with all Company policies and procedures outlined in the KEG 1 Missouri, LLC Employee Handbook.
  • Conduct all activities in accordance with local, state and federal liquor control regulations.
  • Other duties as assigned.
