Title of Position: Director of Programming (Part-Time, with future potential for full time salary) Reports to: Owner Locations: McDonough, Covington, Conyers (must be able to work in all areas) Compensation: Based on experience ($27-45/hr) Schedule: 4 days / week: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursday evenings, and Saturdays. 20-30 hours / week. Flexibility: Long term, this position will own scheduling and be able to dictate own personal schedule. Objective of the Position: To execute the vision of Soccer Shots (We aim to provide a beloved growth experience for every child; a remarkable experience for every family) to enable the leadership team to successfully achieve seasonal and annual goals. Summary of the Role: The Director of Programming is a hungry, humble and smart leader worth following. You must have the heart of a coach FIRST , because that is where you will start - on the field coaching children. But you must also have a desire to act as a business leader - you will be expected to act as an owner and you will be rewarded for such initiative. You must be an adventurer with a passion to grow and multiply themselves. You must be a competitor, possessing grit, a scrappy demeanor, and a determined drive to hit audacious goals. This person has the ability to harmoniously integrate the major functions of the business, run the organization, and manage the day-to-day issues that arise. You are the glue that holds the people, processes, systems, priorities, and strategy of the company together. You must be able to hire and train and teach other strong coaches. You must be able to reliably drive yourself between McDonough, Conyers, and Covington. Hourly pay is provided for driving between sessions. Skills we are looking for: Leadership experience Teaching experience Coaching experience Parenting experience of young children Moms and Dads who are looking for part-time work that would like to help grow a business People with a passion for the next generation Availability during the school day and many Saturdays (about 26 Saturdays per year - 9am to 3pm only) Do Not Apply Unless: You have a bachelor's degree. (Education matters - we need educated people who want to pass on that education the next generation). You have a resume that you wrote yourself and highlights your aptitude, your drive, and your initiative. We are looking for a person who is a self starter and a problem solver. You can converse with parents, comfortably. You have experience teaching children (teachers are great; any coaching experience is great; soccer is not necessary - we'll teach you soccer) You are extremely positive and energetic and playful with kids 2-8 years old. Particularly with 2 and 3 year olds. You have a strong parent voice and can command a room full of children and have a desire to coach and be a leader to children. Soccer experience is not required - we will teach you the program. But you must have leadership qualities and a loud voice. You see the glass as half full and derive joy from our work, and it shows.
