The Director of Workforce Development develops and drives integrated workforce strategies. Directs, oversees execution, and provides leadership for workforce programs, develops programming and career pathways specific to services talent supply and retention, and ensures alignment with the national workforce development (WFD) strategy. Provided executive leadership for workforce development operations, administration, funding support, and related project management. Hires, mentors, and offers daily direction to WFD members. Oversees workforce development-related program development strategies, specifically focusing on entry-level job families and colleagues serving in entry-level roles. Delivers effective and efficient strategy in support of strategic business initiatives. Talent Acquisition, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, Organization Effectiveness, Community Health and Wellbeing, and strategic Human Resources objectives. Partner with internal executives and external key stakeholders to develop innovative, strategic, and forward-thinking programs, talent supply initiatives, and processes that provide top talent through various innovative workforce programs and channels. Identifies funding opportunities to support key initiatives, development of programs, barrier removal, and increased retention. Creates, implements, and leads key strategies that support candidate attraction and engagement. Leads community engagement, workforce programs, and partnerships to build diverse programs that help develop a qualified, diverse talent workforce. Collaborates with internal resources to guide the alignment with the employment brand to ensure a competitive edge in the marketplace and affirm Trinity Health as an employer of choice. Ensures Service Area alignment with national workforce development strategies.
