Wellness - Activities Director
About The Position
Aegis Therapies, one of the nation’s leading providers of contract rehabilitation and wellness services, is hiring a Director of Wellness and Activities. This full-time role involves scheduling the monthly calendar with 5-7 exercises or activities per day, including group exercise/activities and traditional activity/recreational programming. The Director will work closely with the Director of Rehabilitation and lead instructors, and will be responsible for marketing the EnerG by Aegis program. EnerG by Aegis is designed to take a holistic approach to health, focusing on seven dimensions of wellness to enhance health and happiness for individuals in senior care, rehabilitation, and restorative care settings. Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Must be at least 18 years of age
Nice To Haves
- Specialty certification as personal trainer, exercise specialist, fitness instructor, health and fitness specialist or similar area
- Background in exercise and activity training with senior populations
