About The Position

The Director of Water Resources plans, directs, and supervises water programs and operations of the Utilities Department including Water Production and Distribution Operations. The Director of Water Resources ensures regulatory compliance for all local, state, and federal laws. Work includes planning, coordination, and oversight of Water Production and Distribution administration and operations as well as the supervision of subordinate professional, technical, and support staff. This position reports to the City Manager.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, natural sciences, or a related field.
• Ten (10) years of professional and managerial experience in utilities operations.
• Valid South Carolina driver's license.
