About The Position

The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) is the official national Democratic campaign committee charged with electing Democrats to the U. S. House of Representatives. The DCCC recruits Democratic candidates and supports Democratic campaigns – both challengers and Democratic incumbent Members – with a variety of services including field operations, fundraising support, communications assistance, digital strategy, research support and management consulting. The DCCC is supported by the contributions of individuals and organizations, along with Democratic Members, from throughout the country. We look for talented and hard-working professionals who are committed to electing Democrats and winning the House majority. Due to the cyclic nature of our organization, all positions are subject to separation at the end of the election cycle. Position Summary: The DCCC is hiring a Voter Contact Director for the 2026 election cycle. This person will direct all paid voter contact programs, including managing the investment process and relationships with vendors, as well as building and maintaining relationships with national and state-based partners. Ideal candidates will have experience working across departments and with many stakeholders to shepherd a program or project from inception to completion.

Requirements

2-3 cycles (4-6 years) of staff management experience is preferred.
Experience running a department or program (e.g. training, campus, digital, out of state) at the statewide level is preferred, but not required
Experience working with partners and stakeholders is strongly preferred
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
Goal-oriented and self-disciplined; able to meet tight deadlines and multitask
Ability to adapt to a fast paced, changing work environment.
Draws from team members’ strengths, empowering them to maximize their talents; contributes where needed to achieve and exceed goals; mentors and guides colleagues with regular feedback and recognition; clearly lays out vision and expectations to the team

Responsibilities

Create and manage a process to intake and evaluate requests for paid voter contact investments
Manage relationships with paid voter contact vendors; and work with the data team to measure the results of paid programs
Build and manage relationships with national and state-based partners
Alongside the National Organizing Director and Deputy Organizing Director, identify districts struggling to meet voter contact goals and work to fill gaps
Build intra and interdepartmental systems and structures to support the Organizing team
Collaborate and coordinate with other DCCC departments as needed
Other responsibilities as necessary to ensure the success of the Organizing team
