About The Position

The Director of Volleyball Operations for the Michigan Volleyball program is responsible for providing logistical and administrative support to coaches, staff, and student-athletes. This role requires a highly organized individual who can effectively communicate with various audiences and adapt to changing circumstances, overseeing all aspects of the women's volleyball program.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Thorough knowledge of NCAA rules and intercollegiate athletics.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent computer and technical skills.
• Exceptional organizational and administrative skills.
• Ability to travel on a regular basis during the volleyball season.

• Master's degree from an accredited college or university.

Responsibilities

• Oversee scheduling and operation of team practices, visiting team logistics, and home game logistics.
• Manage team schedule, communication, and organization using Teamworks.
• Oversee and communicate all team travel logistics such as transportation, accommodations, and meals for a 30+ person travel party.
• Provide logistical support for coaches recruiting travel.
• Manage daily logistics of meals, team operations, and staff needs.
• Create and maintain the volleyball operation budget, and oversee all purchases and contractual agreements as it pertains to the volleyball program.
• Provide administration support for camps/clinics and associated budgets.
• Serve as a point of contact for various departments including Ticket Office, Equipment Manager, Facilities Managers, Marketing, Event Management, Travel Office, Media Relations, Information Technology, Compliance Office, Nutrition Staff, and Alumni Relations.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by Head Coach.
