This is where you and your skills come in. We’re currently looking for Director of Creative Video. As the Director of Video at RingCentral, you will lead the evolution of our video production and visual storytelling capabilities, integrating AI-powered tools, automation, and data-driven insights to deliver scalable, high-impact content. Reporting directly to the VP of Marketing, you will partner cross-functionally to create compelling, modern video experiences that elevate our brand and support go-to-market strategies across a global audience.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in video production, creative direction, or a related field, with a strong portfolio of high-impact work.
  • 5+ years of experience leading and scaling creative teams in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.
  • Hands-on experience or strong familiarity with AI-powered creative tools (e.g., generative AI for video, automated editing platforms, personalization tools, and content analytics).
  • Expertise in video production tools and platforms (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, After Effects, Frame.io, project management tools like Wrike/Monday, and collaboration tools within the RingCentral ecosystem).
  • Strong understanding of content performance metrics, digital marketing, and audience engagement strategies.
  • Proven ability to balance creative excellence with operational efficiency and scalability.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Strategic thinker with a passion for storytelling, innovation, and emerging technologies.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media Production, Communications, or related field (preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute an AI-forward video content strategy that supports brand growth, demand generation, and customer engagement across digital channels.
  • Leverage AI tools and platforms (e.g., generative video, automated editing, personalization engines, and analytics) to optimize production efficiency, scalability, and performance.
  • Lead creative and strategic workshops, incorporating AI-driven ideation and rapid prototyping into brainstorming, concept development, and creative reviews.
  • Manage and develop a high-performing team of videographers, editors, motion designers, and producers, fostering a culture of innovation, experimentation, and continuous learning in AI-enabled workflows.
  • Oversee end-to-end video production, including AI-assisted scripting, storyboarding, editing, and post-production, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Architect and scale modular video and motion design systems, enabling rapid content creation for product demos, campaigns, events, and executive communications.
  • Partner with product marketing, demand generation, social, and communications teams to integrate video into omnichannel campaigns, leveraging personalization and audience insights.
  • Identify, onboard, and manage agencies and vendors with cutting-edge AI and production capabilities to build a best-in-class content ecosystem.
  • Establish and track performance metrics and analytics, using data and AI insights to continuously optimize content effectiveness and ROI.
  • Ensure all video content aligns with brand standards, while pushing the boundaries of modern, tech-forward storytelling reflective of RingCentral’s innovation in cloud communications and AI.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends across AI in creative production, video technology, and digital media, bringing new capabilities and ideas into the organization.
