About The Position

Abraxas Youth & Family Services is currently looking for a solutions-oriented Director of Treatment Services at our Abraxas Academy program located in Morgantown, PA. This is great opportunity for you to create a new vision of treatment programming altogether! The Director of Treatment Services is a key member of the Abraxas Academy leadership team who supervises a multidisciplinary treatment team to ensure that in-services programming occurs on a regular basis. As the Director, you will be empowered to develop and manage treatment services. This position provides on-site leadership and daily direction for the treatment team to ensure the highest quality of client care in a culturally sensitive and advanced fashion. The Director must possess knowledge of dual diagnosis/chemical dependency/mental health clients; age-specific client issues, limit setting and behavior management, crisis prevention and intervention techniques; knowledge and comprehension of regulatory agency standards (DDAP, DPW, CMS, Joint Commission, etc.); staff development procedures and requirements; ability to communicate orally, telephonically, and in writing; working knowledge of computer systems and various software. Must possess good interpersonal skills and the ability to be a team player. Good documentation, organization and time management skills are necessary. Must be effective in decision-making and problem solving.

Requirements

Master’s Degree or above from an accredited college with a major in medicine, chemical dependency, psychology, social work, counseling, nursing (with a specialty in nursing/health administration, nursing/counseling education or a clinical specialty in the human services), public administration, or other related field and 3 years of experience in a human service agency, which includes supervision of others, direct service and program planning.
At least twenty-one (21) years of age
Valid PA Driver's License

Nice To Haves

current licensure in PA as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or higher-level credential.

Responsibilities

Devising strategies and plans for the clinical department according to company standards for excellent service and growth.
Planning and overseeing all patient care or administrative operations and programs.
Develops and oversees facility operational policies and procedures in accordance with appropriate standards, rules, regulations, to ensure regulatory compliance.
Coordinates interfacing of clinical services with educational, medical, community services, family services, and the training department
Prepares appropriate reports and correspondence of all treatment services in a timely manner to ensure regulatory compliance and in accordance with applicable standards of care.
Assesses and monitors service resource utilization and assists with performance improvement process.
Ensures that programming and services are appropriate to meet the needs of the clients of the facility.
