About The Position

Direct the operations, programs, and activities at Belleville 180 S. Third St. Plan, direct, and coordinate patient care activities with a high level of customer-focused patient care. Advise medical staff in matters related to clinical services by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate staff. Define and maintain facility standards in nursing care and practice in accordance with all regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Health Care Administration, Business Administration or closely related fieldrequired. A combination of education and related professional experience may be substituted in lieu of degree
  • Must have working knowledge of medical technology which includes but not restricted to: EMR, Management System, InventorySystemand reportingfunctions
  • Must excel in computer use to include, but not limited to, word, excel and email as well as other forms of communication through technology

Responsibilities

  • Plans and organizes activities related to specified clinical services to ensure patient needs are metin accordance withprofessional standards of medical and nursing care and facility administrative procedures. Primary responsibility for multispecialty practice and functions as TRH on-site leader for all TRH services, coordinating with service line leaders as needed.
  • Coordinates activities with other facility departments, patient care units, medical staff, patients' relatives, and other health facilities
  • Develops, implements, and evaluates methods to ensure effective and efficient use of staff, facilities, equipment, and other resources whilemaintainingpatient care standards
  • Develops, implements, and coordinates quality management,utilizationreview,and discharge planning programs
  • Direct, supervise and evaluate work activities of clinical personnel
  • Establish work schedules and assignments for clinical staff, according to workload,spaceand equipment availability
  • Assume responsibility of budgeting and resourcingfor Multispecialty practice
  • Assigndaily operational rolesand create schedules for all employees
  • Coordinate and supervise staff providing constructive feedback
  • Provide employeeswith clinical training and opportunities for continuous development
  • Evaluate performance and discipline employees when necessary
  • Monitor compliance to legal guidelines, internalpoliciesand quality standards
