Texas Performing Arts (TPA) is the performing arts presenting and producing program of the University of Texas at Austin (UT).   • Develop and enhance ticketing systems and processes for a seamless ticketing experience.
  • Lead a team of full-time, part-time, and student staff in the ticketing department.
  • Implement sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue and attendance goals.
  • Manage systems for group sales, VIP packages, dynamic pricing, and other ticketing items.
  • Oversee e-commerce activities and manage the ticketing system for maximum ROI.
  • Create and lead TPA’s CRM system strategy.
  • Direct the creation of operating plans for the Ticketing department.
  • Coordinate with co-promoters and agents for smooth execution of ticket sales.
  • Supervise Ticket Office operations during events.
  • Monitor financial reporting and ensure compliance with state law and university policies.
  • At least seven (7) years of management experience in professional performing arts, entertainment, events or athletics ticketing.
  • Demonstrated experience managing advanced functions of an enterprise-level event ticketing system.
  • Experience managing a venue ticketing team.
  • Competencies in accuracy, attention to detail, effective communication, initiative, interpersonal relationships, and problem solving.
  • More than the minimum required years of experience.
  • Experience managing ticketing in a performing arts center, particularly a multi-venue center.
  • Experience managing ticketing in multiple sectors of the performing arts and entertainment.
  • Technical skills such as database administration, SQL, data analytics, and report writing.
  • Interest in and strong commitment to the mission and programs of Texas Performing Arts and the University of Texas.
