About The Position
The Director of Throughput at Medical City Dallas is responsible for coordinating patient flow through the hospital and ensuring effective clinical care coordination across the continuum. This role involves developing strategies to reduce length of stay (LOS) and resource utilization, while also facilitating compliance initiatives and improving patient flow processes. The Director will lead the Patient Flow department, manage staffing and expenses, and serve as an educational leader for hospital staff and physicians regarding utilization review and resource management.
