About The Position
The Tointon Institute for Educational Change has been in place at UNC since 1995. Its primary mission is to provide highly effective, engaging and meaningful professional development for PK-12 principals and teacher leaders in the state of Colorado. The Director oversees all planning and work of the TIEC. The Director develops all programs' scope and sequence, selects and hires facilitators and is responsible for all content of these programs. The Director oversees the development of any new programs or offerings and is responsible for maintaining the integrity of the Institute. The Director plans and carries out follow up programs for participants. The Director is responsible for meeting with others in the state who conduct similar work, staying abreast of current topics and providing highly effective, engaging and meaningful professional development for principals and teacher leaders.
