About The Position
Reporting to the dean of the Morehead Honors College, the Director of the Foundation Fellowship oversees the day-to-day operations of the University of Georgia's most prestigious undergraduate scholarship, established in 1972. This position fosters a community of scholarship and leadership by providing intellectual, cultural, and service opportunities in an environment conducive to learning and personal growth through shared knowledge and experience. The position builds awareness of the scholarship among potential recipients and the broader academic community; recruits and trains scholarship selection committees on eligibility requirements and relevant UGA policies; works with colleagues to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of scholarship distributions; and evaluates the scholarship program regularly, ensuring continued excellence.
