About The Position

Small Brothers, LLC (parent company to Cleveland Construction, Inc. and others) are seeking an experienced Director of Tax to join our team. This position will be responsible for managing a multifaceted group of companies. This position will have a wide range of responsibilities impacting the family of companies.

Requirements

• Minimum five years of recent corporate tax experience in an accounting firm, corporation and/or law firm
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline from an accredited college/university
• Licensed CPA, EA, or JD/LLM, a plus
• Experience with corporate taxation, consolidations and partnerships, and strong knowledge of ASC 740
• Experience in construction, manufacturing, or family office tax advising
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills with the ability to articulate complex information

Responsibilities

• Provide tax compliance and advisory services to the company and family
• Proactively research new and existing tax code to lower the companies' tax liability
• Suggest restructuring for tax liability purposes, when appropriate
• Participate with accounting for income taxes (ASC 740) and tax provision calculations
• Assist CFO with other tasks as assigned
