Under the direction of the Executive Director, the Director of Supported and Independent Living Services is responsible for all aspects of non-licensed community living programs including day-to-day operations, long-term planning, hiring, supervision and training of staff, program quality, program design and implementation, budgeting and financial management, risk management, and marketing of services. The Director of Supported and Independent Living Services is a member of the Leadership Team and works in collaboration with all other departments. The Director of Supported and Independent Living Services shall also ensure the rights, safety, and medical and physical needs of the individuals served are rigorously supported and monitored. The Director of Supported and Independent Living Services provides and oversees all case management services for individuals served by programs through the interdisciplinary process. This includes coordinating services with referral source personnel, accessing community supports, assuring the development of Individual Service plans for each individual, assuring programs and staff provides quality services adhering to the Individual Program Plan and the Individual Service Plan, monitoring the progress of individuals served and making adjustments in the plan as necessary, and all other case management-related services. The Director of Supported and Independent Living Services is also responsible for all quality assurance activities including compliance with laws and regulations governing the various types of services provided including maintenance of consumer records, providing and assuring staff training is completed in accordance with the program designs, coaching and mentoring staff, providing necessary disciplinary actions, and overall evaluation of programs and services.
