Responsibilities
- Lead all electronic component purchasing to ensure best pricing, optimal lead times, and uninterrupted production flow.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key distributors, suppliers, and manufacturers to secure competitive advantage.
- Analyze Bills of Materials (BOMs) and implement purchasing strategies that balance cost, inventory levels, and production demand.
- Plan and schedule all manufacturing activities to meet customer delivery requirements while maximizing factory efficiency.
- Establish and maintain accurate product costing models to ensure profitable quoting and margin protection.
- Conduct time studies and process analysis to improve manufacturing efficiency, throughput, and labor utilization.
- Optimize factory layout, workflow, and resource allocation to support scalable and efficient operations.
- Implement and drive continuous improvement initiatives (Lean / Six Sigma principles) across manufacturing and supply chain.
- Ensure the highest standards of quality, process discipline, and operational excellence are maintained.
- Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) across purchasing, production, and operations to drive accountability and performance.
