About The Position
The Director of Student Success, Leadership, and Engagement within the University of Maryland, Baltimore's (UMB) Division of Student Affairs will provide vision, leadership, supervision, and management of all essential components of the department by providing supervision and oversight of the following areas: student leadership, student organizations, civic engagement, and the Student Success Center which includes the UMB Student Pantry. These programs, initiatives, and services contribute to the comprehensive and vibrant leadership and engagement experiences of UMB students, as well as the university community which includes faculty, staff, neighbors, and alumni. This position will be an active collaborator with colleagues in the Division of Student Affairs and across the university to provide leadership and community engagement initiatives that ensure the success of all students. The Director serves as a member of the Division of Student Affairs leadership and director team to ensure the fulfillment of strategic, operational, and financial objectives of the division. This position reports to the Assistant Vice President of Student Success.
