About The Position

Indy West Christian School is seeking a mature Christian individual to serve as Director of Student Life . The Director of Student Life leads initiatives that foster spiritual growth, positive student culture, and restorative discipline practices. This role is central to creating an environment where students thrive academically, socially, and spiritually.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree required
• ACSI leadership certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Strong leadership and organizational skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Suite and FACTS SIS
• CPR and First Aid certified (or willingness to obtain)
• A personal relationship with Jesus Christ
• Active member of an evangelical church
• Commitment to the school's Statement of Faith and Lifestyle Statement
• Demonstrates integrity, wisdom, and boldness in upholding the mission of Indy West

Nice To Haves

• Master's preferred
• Prior counseling or dean experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead Chapel programming and spiritual emphasis events.
• Oversee student spiritual health and community service initiatives.
• Implement Character Foundations and Biblical principles across campus.
• Develop and maintain restorative discipline models.
• Support teachers with behavior expectations and policy enforcement.
• Oversee school-wide expectations and reward systems.
• Serve on the school leadership and crisis teams.
• Collaborate on handbooks, policies, and student life programming.
• Lead initiatives such as MOSAIC, Buddy/House systems, and special events.
