The Director of the Student Information System/PEIMS directs and oversees the District's student information system, student academic data and other data submitted to the State of Texas via the Texas Education Agency (TEA) to ensure data and recordkeeping integrity and compliance. The Director also oversees the collection, assessment and reporting of District information to the Public Education Information Management System (PEIMS) as required by state law. Additionally, the Director of Student Information conducts internal audits and develops systems of check and balances to ensure data and recordkeeping integrity and compliance. The Director of Student Information must act with integrity, support organizational goals, demonstrate the ability to inspire, grow and motivate others and commit to championing the needs of the students, employees and overall District.
