The Director is responsible for creating a vibrant campus life that aligns with the university's academic mission, supporting students from their initial orientation through their entire undergraduate experience. The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to fostering an inclusive and intellectually enriching environment, engaging with a diverse student body and staff across various backgrounds, including race, ethnicity, ability, socioeconomic status, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, nationality, and religion. In this role, the Director will supervise a small team of professional staff and student employees, ensuring the effective delivery of a comprehensive co-curricular program that enhances student engagement and retention. The Director will also be involved in the planning and execution of major campus-wide events, such as Family, Friends, and Alumni Weekend, Senior Week, and commencement activities.
