About The Position

The Director of Strategy and Execution at FUJIFILM Diosynth Biotechnologies will act as a key advisor to the Site Head, overseeing daily operations and long-term strategic initiatives. This role requires a dynamic leader who can manage complex operations, drive continuous improvement, and facilitate communication with stakeholders. The Director will lead major projects, support strategic processes, and collaborate with corporate communications and Investor Relations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related executive training/certification; advanced degree preferred.
  • 10 years of relevant experience in a senior leadership or Strategy and Execution role, preferably within a manufacturing environment, supporting C-suite leaders.
  • 5-6 years of experience in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects and organize multiple teams and departments simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
  • Strategic thinker with a track record of driving process improvements and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted advisor to the Site head, assisting with strategic tasks and operational decisions.
  • Facilitate communication and act as Site head liaison to internal and external stakeholders, building relationships and overseeing content for events and presentations.
  • Lead and manage senior leadership team forums and events, ensuring alignment with site objectives.
  • Coordinate and finalize content for the quarterly Board of Directors meetings.
  • Support enterprise strategic processes, including annual strategy and budget planning.
  • Identify new opportunities, challenges, or risks to business growth and improvement through data analysis, performance monitoring, and market research.
  • Support and/or lead initiatives and teams to ensure successful execution and implementation of key strategic initiatives, ensuring deliverables align with site objectives and teams coordinate cross-functionally.
  • Collaborate with corporate communications to create content for internal communications, including town halls and newsletters.
  • Work with Investor Relations to prepare the Site Head for investor meetings and presentations.
