About The Position

The Director of Strategic Transformation at the Illinois Quantum and Microelectronics Park (IQMP) will lead the strategic planning and implementation of initiatives aligned with the park's vision. This role involves overseeing project management, stakeholder engagement, workforce development, and risk management to ensure operational efficiency and innovation within a public-private partnership focused on quantum technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• 8 years of experience in policy, research, and/or communications roles within non-profit institutions or government agencies
• 4 years of experience in management consulting with a focus on large-scale transformation
• Proven experience leading complex, multi-workstream projects in public-private partnerships
• 10 years of management experience, focusing on leading high-performing teams

Nice To Haves

• Master's Degree, MBA strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of public sector challenges and private sector innovations
• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills

Responsibilities

• Lead and implement strategic planning for the overall transformation strategy of the IQMP.
• Oversee coordination of workstreams in the development of a deep-tech focused campus, including site planning, infrastructure, and business development.
• Serve as a liaison with senior public and private stakeholders to ensure alignment and secure buy-in for strategic decisions.
• Lead workforce development activities to foster local talent and inclusive growth.
• Provide quantitative analysis to support decision-making and resource allocation.
• Oversee risk and compliance across the partnership, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards.
