You have a talent for identifying and developing new partnership opportunities. You can leverage your network to connect with key decision-makers at target companies for new account acquisition. This role is full-time and offers home working flexibility anywhere in the U.S.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years in a strategic partnership or business development role in the home improvement industry.
  • Proven track record of developing partnerships within the home improvement industry.
  • Deep knowledge of the industry in the US and the ability to speak at public events, trade shows, podcasts.
  • Proven ability to create and scale partnership programs and referral networks.
  • Extensive network in the US home improvement sector and strong reputation as a relationship builder.
  • Experience collaborating across departments and aligning partnerships with company-wide goals.
  • Able to travel to conferences and industry events - Up to 2 - 3 per month.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, manage, and optimize strategic partnerships with industry associations, manufacturers, service providers, and other key players in the home improvement space.
  • Build and manage HomeBuddy’s referral program as a scalable growth channel.
  • Partner with industry organizations for webinars, trade shows, and conferences to increase visibility and engagement.
  • Execute joint marketing campaigns with partners to expand reach and drive new business.
  • Represent HomeBuddy at public events, speaking engagements, and through industry insights on platforms like LinkedIn.
  • Implement and oversee processes, reporting, and tracking tools (e.g., HubSpot) to monitor and elevate partnership performance.
  • Proactively identify new opportunities, leverage your network, and negotiate mutually beneficial agreements that drive measurable results.
