The Wall Street Journal is looking for a bold and innovative journalist to lead strategic initiatives in service of our audience-first vision. This is an opportunity to formulate, incubate and operationalize new ideas for our global newsroom, in close collaboration with colleagues across the business. This role sits within the digital team, which drives news strategy for everything from AI to visual storytelling. You should be familiar with the changing media landscape and ready to identify where the Journal should adapt, compete and win. You’ll be expected to recommend big bets that push the Journal forward while embracing the brand. Your remit is anything that touches our journalism, with the overarching goals of engaging and growing our audiences.
