About The Position

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Director of Sterile Processing to lead a large Sterile Processing Department (SPD) supporting a major acute-care facility. This role reports to the VP of Perioperative Services and is responsible for operational quality, team leadership, and ensuring safe, compliant instrument processing.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Nursing OR completion of a two-year Surgical Technology program
• IAHCSMM/HSPA certification (CRCST or CSPDT) required
• 5+ years of leadership experience in Central Sterile Processing
• Experience leading large teams in a large, acute-care hospital
• Strong knowledge of OR instrumentation and sterilization processes

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations for a department of 80+ staff
• Ensure compliance with sterilization standards and infection control
• Work closely with OR, Endoscopy, and Clinic teams to support instrumentation needs
• Oversee hiring, training, and staff development
• Recommend equipment, process improvements, and resource needs
