Job Purpose: The Sterile Processing Director is responsible for the overall leadership, strategic direction, and management of the Sterile Processing Department (SPD). This role ensures that all surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies are processed, sterilized, and distributed according to regulatory standards, hospital policies, and industry best practices. The Director collaborates with perioperative services, infection control, and other departments to support safe, efficient patient care. Education and Work Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Nursing, or related field (Master’s preferred). Minimum of 7–10 years of sterile processing experience, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership role. Strong knowledge of sterilization science, infection prevention, and regulatory standards. Proven ability to manage budgets, staffing, and operations in a healthcare environment. Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills
