The Opportunity: Position: Full-Time Director of Staff Development Salary: $104,000 per year Location: McClure Post Acute Benefits: Comprehensive Full-Time Benefits Package (Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k, and PTO) Your Leadership Impact: As the DSD, you are the architect of our facility’s clinical competency and culture. Education & Training: Plan, implement, and evaluate all facility orientation, job skills training, and in-service education for nursing staff. Recruitment & Culture: Coordinate the hiring and onboarding of new staff, ensuring they are prepared for success from day one. Regulatory Excellence: Maintain all records for in-services as required by state and federal regulations; participate in licensing and certification surveys. Clinical Oversight: Collaborate with the DON and Administrator to monitor the delivery of patient care, coordinate infection control surveillance, and step in for direct resident care as needed. Safety Leadership: Plan and conduct required fire and disaster drills to ensure facility-wide preparedness. Requirements

Current, valid California LVN License (RNs also encouraged to apply).
Minimum of (1) year of experience providing direct patient care in a long-term care facility.
Minimum of (1) year of experience planning and implementing nursing education programs.
Excellent presentation and communication skills; ability to relate positively to residents, families, and staff.
Current CPR Certification.

Nice To Haves

Proficiency with PointClickCare (PCC) is highly preferred.
