About The Position

As an Artifacts Director of Software Engineering at JPMorgan Chase within the Corporate Technology Office, you lead a technical area and drive impact within teams, technologies, and projects across departments. Utilize your in-depth knowledge of software, applications, technical processes, and product management to drive multiple complex projects and initiatives, while serving as a primary decision maker for your teams and be a driver of innovation and solution delivery.

Requirements

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 10+ years applied experience
• 5+ years of experience leading technologists to manage, anticipate and solve complex technical items within your domain of expertise
• 15+ years of software engineering experience, with firm understanding of various design patterns, cloud native microservices architecture and engineering practices
• Strong experience working with Java, Spring Boot and Oracle, along with good understanding of pypi, nuget, npm and maven build tooling
• Comfortable in more than two programming languages with a strong understanding of fundamental web/internet technologies
• Experience with both Private and Public clouds ranging from IaaS to PaaS solutions
• Hands on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, AWS EKS and ECS is required
• Practical experience with unit testing using tools like JUnit and Mockito
• Experience developing or leading cross-functional teams of technologists
• Experience with hiring, developing, and recognizing talent
• Expertise in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field

Nice To Haves

• Proficient in SQL preferably across multiple databases
• Experience with Grafana, Cortex, Kibana, Datadog, Cloudwatch, JFrog Artifactory
