About The Position

The Director of Social Services at CAMBA is responsible for maintaining professional relationships with clients while ensuring client confidentiality. The role involves compliance with Federal, State, City, and CAMBA security and privacy policies to protect individually identifiable health information. The Director will oversee the intake process for newly admitted clients, monitor client intakes and move-outs, and manage ACS cases. The position requires collaboration with community agencies and communication with peers regarding client progress. The Director will supervise a minimum of four direct reports, set performance targets, conduct client progress reviews, and implement quality assurance measures. Additionally, the Director will prepare contract reports, assist in program analysis, and organize training opportunities for staff. The role may also involve direct client service responsibilities and requires on-call availability 24/7.

Requirements

  • Master's degree and three years of applicable experience, or equivalent experience.
  • License required for Master's Degrees in Social Work (LMSW or LCSW), Mental Health Counseling, Counseling/Guidance, Art Therapy.
  • Two years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain professional relationships with clients and client confidentiality.
  • Practice Universal Precautions/Standard Protocol & Procedures.
  • Comply with Federal, State, City and CAMBA security and privacy policies.
  • Ensure newly admitted clients receive social service intake within 48 hours.
  • Monitor and track client intakes and move-outs using DHS rosters.
  • Oversee all ACS cases and ensure monthly tracking forms are completed.
  • Review and update ACS client rosters.
  • Meet with community agencies for high-risk case conferences.
  • Communicate with peers on client progress issues.
  • Understand and communicate contract requirements to staff.
  • Supervise a minimum of four direct reporting staff.
  • Set and achieve realistic monthly performance targets.
  • Teach and coach staff on client engagement for housing subsidies.
  • Conduct weekly client progress reviews with staff.
  • Implement Quality Assurance measures for service delivery.
  • Respond to critical incidents requiring immediate attention.
  • Access client data using various tracking and program databases.
  • Prepare contract reports and statistical information.
  • Assist in program and demographic data analysis.
  • Organize training opportunities for staff development.
  • Assist Senior Program Manager in program oversight.
  • Confer with management regarding programmatic and personnel issues.
  • Attend staff/funder/outside agency meetings as requested.
  • Facilitate weekly meetings with social service staff.
  • Review and sign time sheets.
  • Prepare performance appraisals for direct reporting staff.
  • Develop marketing material and outreach strategies.
  • Network to expand client recruitment and opportunities.
  • May have direct client service responsibilities.
