About The Position

We're looking for a Director of Social Media who is both a strategic thinker and a hands-on creator. You'll own 10X Health's organic social presence across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and LinkedIn: building the brand, driving audience growth, and converting attention into action. You'll lead a small team of 1–3 while staying deeply connected to content creation and account management yourself. This is not a 'manage the calendar and report on impressions' role. This is a builder role. You'll set direction, shape tone of voice, mentor your team, and be accountable for real outcomes.

Requirements

  • Proven track record growing audiences and driving measurable outcomes on Instagram, TikTok, and/or LinkedIn
  • Exceptional copywriting skills: you understand tone, cadence, and what makes people stop scrolling
  • Deep fluency with short-form video: you understand what performs and why
  • Data-literate: you make decisions based on what the numbers say, not what feels right
  • Strong grasp of both consumer (B2C) and professional (B2B) social dynamics
  • Comfort operating in a fast-moving, high-growth environment with limited structure
  • 8+ years of social media experience
  • 3+ years of experience managing a team
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field

Nice To Haves

  • Experience managing celebrity or high-profile talent content preferred
  • Paid social experience as a complement to organic ownership preferred
  • Familiarity with Hubspot, Shopify, and/or other marketing attribution tools preferred
  • Background in health, wellness, performance, or medically adjacent brands preferred

Responsibilities

  • Social Strategy & Channel Ownership
  • Develop and own the social strategy across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and LinkedIn - with distinct approaches for each platform
  • Define content pillars aligned to brand, product, and revenue goals
  • Manage posting cadence, content planning, and campaign calendars
  • Partner with the CMO and creative team on major campaign launches and talent activation
  • Content Creation & Execution
  • Write compelling copy across all formats - short-form video captions, long-form LinkedIn thought leadership, story sequences, and more
  • Collaborate with designers, video editors, and in-house talent to produce high-quality content
  • Stay ahead of trends, especially on TikTok and Instagram Reels, and move quickly to capitalize on moments
  • B2B & LinkedIn Strategy
  • Build and execute a LinkedIn strategy targeting high performance executives and entrepreneurs, enterprise partners, health systems, and corporate wellness buyers
  • Develop thought leadership content for executive profiles
  • Support B2B partner program visibility through organic LinkedIn distribution
  • Team Leadership
  • Hire, manage, and develop 1–3 direct reports (Social Media Coordinator and/or Content Specialist)
  • Set clear goals, provide regular feedback, and build a high-performance social team culture
  • Balance delegation with staying hands-on when needed, including creating content yourself
  • Analytics & Optimization
  • Own social reporting: follower growth, engagement rate, reach, video views, link clicks, and attributed revenue where trackable
  • Use data to make fast decisions on what to double down on and what to cut
  • Partner with Data Analytics on attribution and performance modeling as our data infrastructure matures
